Changing the stock material aluminum into ultra-lightweight (2.5kg -68% lighter than the genuine) high qualtiy dry carbon trunk improves the aesthetics as well as the quality that the stock Nissan GT-R originally has. The very light carbon trunk Type II has a integrated rear wing stay. The results of the integration is a cleaner airflow under the rear spoiler and subesquently lower drag and higher downforce at the rear. It is fabricated from high quality OEM style dry carbon fiber and treated with a clear coat finish for excellent durability. Installation is simple and the existing inner rib as well as trunk hinge are utilised to secure the strength.

As an option you can include also the ultra-lightweight Mine's carbon fiber rear wing (1.7kg / normal 4.4kg) and safe money. By maintaining the stock design and increasing the height by 30mm the down force and high speed stability is improved. The design of the gurney creates the maximum amount of down force, improving cornering performance and high-speed stability without increasing the drag. Since this rear wing cannot incorporate the High Mount stop light, it is for circuit use only.

The total weight reduction with this set is 8kg.
